In the early years of the last century, composer Ralph Vaughan Williams came to Lynn and found a wealth of music within the fishing community. He added it to his collection of folk song and some of the airs formed the basis of his own compositions. Liz James and Jill Bennett are in the process of writing a book about him and his work.
All lectures are free but donations for the work of the museum are welcome. Booking available from January 11. Details: 01553 770479,
